TNT has announced that it will air the first two hours of the first installment of the new Watson Taurasanti-to–Jordan Bellons basketball game.
The game will be televised from the University of Southern California’s Los Angeles Coliseum.
TNT has been airing a pre-game show with the game at the same time since December of last year.
The network is hoping that it can get a deal for a third game, with a pregame show on ESPN, as well as a game on ESPN2.
TNT will also air a pre game show with a halftime show with both teams in LA on the same day.
This is a big deal for both teams and for the NBA.
Bellon has been out since the All-Star break with a left knee injury.
He is averaging 19.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
The second-year guard is shooting 54.6 percent from the field, 41.5 percent from three-point range and 42.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Bellosa has had a terrific season so far and is averaging 14.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.6 assists per contest.
The 6-foot-9, 195-pound guard shot a career-best 40.7 percent from behind the arc and shot 52.2 percent from long range.
Bellon’s team is ranked fifth in the Western Conference and is playing for a first-round bye in the NBA playoffs.
The Lakers have lost seven of their past eight games.
